How long until I get my footage?
All raw footage is delivered digitally within 72 hours of us receiving the box back. Add rush turnaround at checkout for a 48-hour turnaround instead.
What do I need to do on the day?
Almost nothing. Hand the cameras to your guests, let them film, then gather everything back into the box at the end of the night. Post it back with the prepaid label — we handle the rest.
Is it just for weddings?
Weddings are our main focus, but the box works brilliantly for parties, hen dos, birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, and any celebration worth keeping on tape.
What is included in the box?
Every box includes 2–3 vintage camcorders (charged and ready), spare batteries, memory cards, a one-page filming guide, and prepaid return packaging.
What is The Edit add-on?
The Edit is an optional £149 add-on at checkout. We cut your guest footage into a highlights film set to music, ready to share. You still receive all raw clips either way.
When should I book?
We recommend booking at least two weeks before your event so the box arrives with time to spare. For soon events, contact us with your date and postcode before paying.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes. We post to UK addresses only, both ways. The box is sent ahead of your event and you return it with the prepaid label included.
What if a camera gets damaged?
Accidents happen and we understand that. Our terms cover fair wear and tear, damage, and late returns clearly. We will contact you before any charge beyond your hire fee.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Cancellations more than 28 days before your event receive a full refund. Between 14–28 days, we refund 50%. Within 14 days, bookings are non-refundable as your kit will already be reserved.
How is this different from hiring a videographer?
A videographer films a polished film. Guest camcorder footage captures the candid, funny, unscripted moments from the people who know you. Many couples use us alongside a photographer or videographer.
How does booking work?
Choose your event date and package at recur.day/book, add any extras, and pay securely via Stripe. We confirm instantly and post your box ahead of the event.
