Weddings are our bread and butter, but some of the best footage we've ever received came from hen weekends, 40ths, and family parties where nobody was trying to be cinematic. They were just having a laugh with a ridiculous old camera.
Where the box fits best
Hen dos and group weekends are a natural fit — lots of people, lots of downtime, plenty of moments worth keeping that no one thought to film on a phone. Birthdays and anniversaries work brilliantly too, especially when multiple generations are in the same room.

Less formal than a wedding — and that's the point
Party bookings get a prep guide aimed at celebrations rather than ceremonies. Less about table plans and speeches, more about handing cameras to the people most likely to cause trouble with them. In a good way.
You don't need a schedule. Put a camcorder on the kitchen counter, one near the speakers, let people find them. The footage that comes back is usually messier than a wedding — and usually more fun to rewatch.
